Pros & Cons- Adidas Ultra Boost ATR
Adidas Ultra Boost All Terrain Retail $220

ENERGY-RETURNING SHOES WITH A WEATHER-RESISTANT DESIGN.

Get that best-run-ever feeling even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. These men’s shoes deliver an energized ride while keeping wet conditions at bay.

A boost™ midsole absorbs the power from your footstrike to release it at push-off, propelling you forward, while a
water-repellent adidas Primeknit upper wraps your foot in support and comfort.
A high collar offers extra coverage
flexible gridlike outsole adapts to your touchdown while securing a firm grip, wet or dry.

Weight: 12 ounces (size 9)
Midsole drop: 10 mm (heel: 32.2 mm / forefoot: 22.2 mm)
Textile and synthetic upper / Textile lining / Rubber outsole
Imported
Product code: S82036
Product color: Core Black / Core Black

Pros:
Light
Attached tongue
Warm! No socks in wind, still warm
Fit TTS
Similar but different to UB
Much improved traction for winter months
Laces not needed for casual use

Cons:
Boost is felt, but more firm than UB IMO.
For All Terrain its very flimsy, not a hiking shoe.
Price is very high.
Very snug fit around ankle (should be obvious by design, if you don’t like that though you may not love that.
Tongue serves no purpose, some may not like.
Is it wool or no? marketing on wool is confusing.
Hard to get on feet
Colors released same as UB 3.0
Hard to rock in regular jeans, even tapered looks very loose.

Recommend?
Yes! If you have $ to burn and want a newer different look from UB.
No if price is too high, and you need something to wear everyday

  1. Picked up a gray pair of these at Marshall’s for 80 bucks. Total steal, it’s my second pair of UltraBoosts and I love them. Thanks for the review.

  2. There’s a pair on the adidas app that looks just like the quantum basketball which I mean the color for only 100 bucks all terrain ultra boost.I would’ve got it but they didn’t have none in my size I think it was only 6 and 7 1/2

  3. Got one in black for 3 months now and I wear them hiking long distance/trail 4-5 times a month, and they perform really well.

  4. I was at the mall and i kid you not i found some ultra boost atr's in a beige colorway for 74 dollars and they were legit

  5. I got these for 180 at road runner the other day and they are fantastic and so comfortable, I took them hiking and they work but my feet did move around a lot but didn't really bother me at all, they have amazing grip and im so pleased with my purchase

  6. Anyone know the durability of the outsole compared with a regular UB? E.g., if the rubber compound used is the same as that on the regular UB, or if the ATRs use a softer (less durable, but generally better traction) compound? TIA.

  7. I highly don't suggest eBay to buy shoes. There are alot of counterfeit. I prefer to buy directly from the company or authorized retailers. Even stock x.

  8. I really like this shoe, but I was interested in buying these as everyday and light hiking shoes, like a nature trail. Does anyone know a good pair that’s looks/feels similar to these?

  9. Just got those and they're truly the perfect boost for me, with the subtle branding on the side like pure boost and solid rubber underneath, and they feel soooo good on your feet man i love mine so much

  10. I’m just got my pair in and going to take them on a 10 day hike in Colorado😂 should be fun… but remember boost is life so you know I can’t not wear boost
