ONLY 1 WORTH BUYING?! ADIDAS STAN SMITH BOOST VS SUPERSTAR BOOST COMPARISON REVIEW!

Here is a video review comparing the Adidas Stan Smith boost to the superstar boost. Only one of the sneakers was really worth buying in my opinion so this video covers which is the better option at $120. I covered the sizing (fit), price (cost), comfort (boost compare), and my overall favorite from the two pairs of classic Adidas sneakers that have had a makeover for 2017.

  1. real leather cracks when it dries. you could just use a leather conditioner when you buy it. then it won't crease. is the stiffness from the leather? bc if that's why, then that's also related to you not conditioning and breaking them in.

  2. I just learned about that original name for Stan Smiths a few months ago. I had seen that name back in the day, but never knew the history of it. I'm a purist when it comes to Superstars and Stan Smiths, so could never own the Superstars with the thing on the side of the sole. Just from your pictures, I can see that the Stan Smiths are a little bigger than the Superstars. Both sneaks are old technology and can never compare to the stuff out today. I agree, the Stan Smiths look better when wearing shorts with no socks. You can wear dark socks with the superstars because of the black strips, but white ankle or no show socks look much better with the Stan Smiths. I collect the vintage models of both pairs back when they were made in France with the thin foam tongue…So, admittedly, have not kept up with the high tech sneaker stuff of today….

  3. Just saw this video in late 2019.
Brilliant idea combining the sweet looks of vintage shoes with the vastly improved comfort of modern ones. The slight change in appearance does not bother me. It's very subtle and worth it for the comfort but I cannot find them.
Too bad. I assume they stopped producing these.

  4. Cheap leather or overloading wax in areas of stress will cause early creasing like that, but if you want full grain leather on a minimalist sneaker your going to be spending +$200 unfortunately

  5. Stan Smith’s crease and that is part of the look.. sorry it’s a old head thing .. lets everyone know your sneakers were leather and not fake back in the day.

  6. Sizing is 100% spot on since i tried a pair of superstar boost on today and the pk version, I have the pk stan smith boost so couldn't pull the trigger on the superstars

  7. I like the original superstar better than both but out of those 2 stan smiths only because that weird ass shit on the side

  8. Can’t lie the shell toes from 2006 and 2017 are totally different they used to cut the shit out the top of my toes particularly my right now they sooo damn smooth but with the boost didn’t even know that crossover existed

  9. Thots in my school ruined the superstars, iniki, almost all of the classics for me so those Stan Smith boost win my vote.

  10. I got the Boost Superstars yesterday at an outlet for $50, less than the normal Superstars in my country, so I copped
