When EW caught up with the 29th winners of The Amazing Race — and the first-ever winning team made up of complete strangers — they hadn’t even watched Thursday’s finale yet. But there was really no need: This victory is one Brooke and Scott have been envisioning for the last 16 years, since they first started watching The Amazing Race with their own individual families in their own individual lives, having no idea their paths would ever cross. When they stepped on that final mat in Chicago and won $1 million together, they had known each other for exactly 22 days.

  1. Brooke and Scott was actually the SECOND team of strangers who won the race. The first team of strangers who won was Laura and Tyler from season 26, where five of the teams were existing couples and six were "blind dates."

  2. Can't believe they won, I really liked Scott, he carried that whiny B*** the entire race she did not deserve any of it and they U-turned the team that helped her finish a leg. I realize tv shows like drama but she really did not add anything to the show, I had to either mute or fast forward to get through her whining. I won't even bother watching another season if there is anyone like her on it.
